Dear Reader,
Have you googled how to quit drinking with a glass in hand? Perhaps you have tried to moderate your drinking and found yourself craving the next Friday, special event, or gathering just for that beverage. Or maybe you are just not liking how you feel anymore but are finding it difficult to stop drinking.
I know how you feel if you have entertained any of these things. I knew I needed to get a grasp on my drinking, but I didn’t feel like AA was for me. I didn’t feel like an alcoholic. I mean, I showed up for my job, family, and dog regularly. I wasn’t rock bottom. But I was joyless, bloated, and generally irritated with life and its people.
It took some exploring to find what would work for me, and I keep the pursuit active in my daily life through support groups, podcasts, and quit-lit.
Here is a list of programs, podcasts, and courses you can try to see if it helps you analyze your relationship with alcohol so you can live the most awesomeness life possible.
Namaste,
P. Mac

Sober Sisters- $
You receive an email from Jenn Kautsch, founder of the Sober Sisters 21 day challenge. After spending over a year researching how to stay sober based on the gray drinking philosophy, she compiled this challenge to help women gain some distance from the glass in hand. The information is valuable, but the most valuable aspect of this challenge is the women you meet on the app Marco Polo. You have a support group of others who are going through the same thing and share reflections about the process. Totally worth the $100!
